Allen Bradley HMI Monitor Repair
Do you have an obsolete Allen Bradley monitor that suddenly went blank or the keypad isn't accurate?
We specialize in obsolescence like this Allen Bradley (6170 Series) monitor. We see many of the common series like the 2711, to newer 6181 series, but also obsolete generations like the 8000 and the 8520 series.
First off, we thoroughly wash, clean and bake the unit to eliminate all contamination. We then replace lamps and capacitors and resolder the cold solder joints on power supplies. Any batteries are replaced, and any necessary board repairs including preventative replacement of any aged components. And, if the unit does need a touchscreen or overlay, we install those. It is then powered up and goes through final testing before the repair is complete.
Here, Jim is replacing the back lights and replacing components on the mother board. The unit also needs a full clean and bake and some cosmetic improvements on the face of the unit. Do you have an old CRT tube in your unit? We can update to an LCD screen. With an LCD panel, it will enhance the images displayed on the screen, provide your monitor with longer life, and make it more energy efficient. But most of all, you can avoid expensive replacement costs of an entire system.
Let us help you make your obsolete equipment into an advantage!
