HDS drives are part of the DIAX04 series by Indramat. It is a fully modular system. Our understanding of the entire servo system has us first plugging the unit into our DIAX closed-loop test module, to see the faults that the drive is having. Once we see the issue, we can begin replacing any of the problematic diodes, resisters, IGBT’s and other components that may have deteriorated, weakened, or heat-fatigued over time. We also change out common failure parts and any parts that show aging, as part of our preventative maintenance, to give your drive new life that will last for years to come. Once all parts are replaced, your unit is placed on our model-specific Indramat test stand and ran for 2 or more hours at various speeds. Only when it passes our full sequence of testing does it receive our quality statement, “If you’re not proud of it, Don’t ship it” stamp of approval. From there it is custom boxed and sent to your facility with a 1 year warranty.
